L-Soft thanks you for your loyalty and use of our products and services.
Since 2002, L-Soft has been involved in a protracted legal dispute, which has proven extremely costly for the company, both by distracting L-Soft's creative energies and by diverting its financial and labor resources in non-productive directions.
In an effort to resolve this conflict in a manner that is fair to both parties so that each may move on, L-Soft international, Inc., has today filed a voluntary petition under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
With the exception of the significant expenses incurred while defending itself during this half-decade of litigation, L-Soft's business has been healthy and profitable, making it a strong candidate for Chapter 11 reorganization. L-Soft believes such reorganization is the best possible course of action to protect our customers and to reposition ourselves for continued growth and success in the future.
We expect L-Soft's business operations and customer support activities to continue normally. We are confident that by filing voluntarily and proactively at this time, L-Soft will emerge from Chapter 11 earlier and better positioned to focus its energies on its mission: develop great software that solves business problems and provides great value to customers.
